Clair turned 31 yesterday! I have to give him a hard time about being old because i'm rapidly approaching it! We went to the cabin for his birthday...just the two of us. We left Noah with my parents and Oscar with Clair's parents and headed out. It was like a scene out of a movie as we had to snowmobile into the cabin and pack our stuff in on a tabogon. It was really fun to get away for the night and it once again reminded me of why i fell in love with Clair and how much he means to me. I"m so grateful to have him as not only my eternal companion but as my best friend. He means the world to me and i'm so lucky and blessed to have him in my life. Thanks to Mom and Dad and Scott and Bonnie for helping us out with Noah & Oscar. We love you!

I made this blanket for Clair. I got a sewing machine for Christmas, made one burp cloth that turned out looking like a dog bone and decided i was good enought to make a blanket....what was i thinking!! It actually turned out pretty good for my first blanket!

What a fun trip! That's so cool that you guys could go stay at the cabin and have some time alone. That is so important cause babies can definitely drain it out of you!! The quilt is awesome.
